CHRISTMAS IN DIVORCELAND
Christmas is about love, family and 'hygge', something we Danes see our selves as being experts at!
It is December 24th. At a dark and smoky bar, Vera, Simon and Mathias are true to their tradition gathered before the trip goes home for Christmas. Mathias’ first Christmas after his parent’s divorce was supposed to go smoothly. But all three are struggling with the stress, duties, and small ticking bombs, when they joggle with several families in Divorceland. Because we all know, it can only be real Christmas, one way.
‘Christmas in Divorceland’ is a humoristic story about ‘the adult children of divorce’ and how to make it unharmed through a minefield of intrigues.

"We are witnessing a beautiful piece of drama, that I would love to see playing again next Christmas."
Scenekanten
"CHRISTMAS IN DIVORCELAND never ends up becoming a sad anti-Christmas show, but simply urges us to reflect."
CPHCulture
"It is actually pretty sad. Which, however does not stop several major laughs, when - especially - the parent generation's hypocrisy is unveiled."
POV International
"The show is bubbling with good ideas and musical details, that lifts the story away from the banal."
